Housing Element Implementation Process
The Town has begun implementation of the 6th Cycle Housing Element which was adopted in May of 2023. This plan establishes the road map for increasing the number of housing units through 2031. The implementation for this plan will occur over a multi-year period with periodic benchmarks established by the California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD). Through this process there will be study sessions, Planning Commission Meetings, and City Council meeting discussions focused on how this housing plan is being implemented in the community. For information on the Housing Element and new housing programs, visit our new Housing Element Hub. Additionally, look out for the Community Development both at Town events.
