Short Term Rentals


The City Council began discussing short term rentals within the Town in early 2016.  A Town Hall meeting was held on March 23, 2017 and on April 20, the Council directed staff to draft an ordinance to regulate short term rentals.  Staff is actively working towards presenting a draft ordinance to the Planning Commission at its August 3, 2017 meeting.  The Commission will make a recommendation to the City Council, who is the final deciding body on the new ordinance.
