Public Review Draft

January 23, 2023 - After submitting the initial Draft of the Housing Element to the Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) on October 27th, 2022, Town staff had a virtual meeting with the HCD reviewer. Based on informal comments received at the meeting, Town staff made revisions to the Draft Housing Element (click below). The formal comment letter from HCD is expected on January 25th, 2023.

The State mandated Public Review Draft of the 6th Cycle Housing Plan 2023 – 2031 Housing Element (draft) for the Town of Los Altos Hills has been released for public review and comment. The Town invites community members, residents, and anyone with housing interests in the Town to review the draft and provide written comments to City staff by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8th.

The Draft will be available for 30 calendar days from August 10 to September 8, 2022.

Physical copies are available for review at Town Hall located at 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022

Written comments may be submitted during the 30-day Public Comment Period via

Email your comments to housingelement@losaltoshills.ca.gov
Fill out the Feedback form in person during Public Counter hours, 9 am – 11 am and 2 pm – 4 pm, Mondays through Thursdays at Town Hall located at 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 (PDF of the Feedback form).
Fill the Feedback Form in person on August 22 and 29, between 5 pm and 7 pm at Town Hall located at 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, CA 94022 (PDF of the Feedback form).
