~Town Wide Neighborhood Clean-Up Event~

GreenWaste is excited to be hosting the next Town wide Clean-Up on Saturday, August 29 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, at the Foothill College Sunnyvale Center, located at 1070 Innovation Way, Sunnyvale (in the Moffett Business Park). GreenWaste looks forward to providing these essential services in a time when most of these services have been discontinued in other areas. Due to construction, the Foothill College main campus is currently unavailable for this event. Foothill College has graciously offered their Sunnyvale location so that a Clean-Up event can be held.
 
Important Note: Lines and wait times at this event are likely to be significantly longer than Clean-Up Events held prior to COVID-19. There is presently an increased demand for these services where strict social distancing protocols will be followed in order to maintain the health and safety of everyone involved in these events.

• Six-foot distance MUST be maintained. Remain in your vehicle at all times. Please show your notification postcard through your closed car window in order to verify participation eligibility.
• All staff and event participants MUST wear face coverings if ever outside of enclosed vehicles. GreenWaste retains the right to turn away participants that are not complying with the face covering requirement.
• Hand sanitizer will be available at the event.
• GreenWaste employees will regularly wipe down high-touch surfaces.
• REMINDER: Do not attend the event if you are sick, always cough into your elbow, and do not shake hands.

 
**Please also wipe down any portion of your vehicle that may have been touched by event staff once you return home.
 
** Due to the above protocols, please expect the process to be both slower and busier than the standard event. We kindly ask participants anticipate these challenges and exercise kindness and patience with each other and with GreenWaste staff, Town staff and each other.
