Dear Los Altos Hills Residents,
On August 27th, 2020 the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors Finance and Government Operations Committee (comprised of Supervisors Cindy Chavez and Dave Cortese) moved to bring the consolidation of the Los Altos Hills County Fire District (LAHCFD) to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors meeting on October 6, 2020.
If the consolidation is approved, it could result in substantially reduced fire protection service levels in town and transfer tax dollars to the south county.
We urge residents to attend (via Zoom) all or one of these three important upcoming meetings with respect to the proposed consolidation of the LAHCFD to express your concerns to county supervisors.
