The Position:

The Town of Los Altos Hills is seeking an innovative and proactive visionary to serve as its new City Manager. Los Altos Hills is a premier Silicon Valley residential community dedicated to the preservation of the rural atmosphere of the foothills and orderly growth. Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. The typical candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, business administration, or a related field and many years of increasingly responsible management experience in a local public and/or private agency involving responsibility for the planning, organization, implementation, and supervision of varied work programs. A Master’s degree in public or business administration, or a related field is desirable. The annual salary range for the City Manger is competitive, negotiable, and dependent upon qualifications and experience of the selected candidate. Closing Deadline: August 13, 2021

Following the closing date, resumes will be screened according to the qualifications outlined above. The most qualified candidates will be invited to personal interviews with Bob Murray and Associates. A select group of candidates will be asked to provide references once it is anticipated that they may be recommended as finalists. References will be contacted only following candidate approval. Finalist interviews will be held with the Town of Los Altos Hills. Candidates will be advised of the status of the recruitment following selection of the City Manager.
