PG&E Customers should prepare for the likelihood of rotating electric outages.
Due to the strain on the power grid during this excessive heat wave, the CA Grid Operator (CAISO) may call for rolling power outages Sunday through Wednesday, August 19. In response, PG&E has released the following news release [Click Here to Read]

Be prepared for a possible outage by following a few tips:
- Charge your devices and have flashlights on hand
- Avoid using large appliances from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Set your A/C to 78 degrees or higher (if health permits)
- Turn off unneeded lights and close blinds and curtains
If an outage does occur, avoid opening your refrigerator to keep food cold. If traffic lights are out, treat intersections as all-way stops.
