PUBLIC SAFETY POWER SHUTOFF

A portion of Los Altos Hills has been issued a potential PSPS event that could occur Sunday 10/25 through early Tuesday 10/27

PG&E Meteorology is actively monitoring the potential for a significant offshore wind event to unfold later this weekend and into early next week. At this time, the event appears to be strong and widespread with the highest probability of PSPS encompassing areas and adjacent terrain of the northern and western Sacramento Valley, Northern and Central Sierra as well as higher terrain of the Bay Area, including the Santa Cruz Mountains, Central Coast Region and portions of southern Kern. A strong weather system is expected to move through the region Sunday into Monday which could result in breezy to gusty offshore winds increasing through the day Sunday, peaking Sunday night into Monday, and possibly lingering in some regions through early Tuesday.
