Free COVID-19 at Home Tests
4 free at-home tests available to every home in the U.S. Limit one order per residential address, one order includes four individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests, Orders will ship free starting in late January. Order yours here:

Automatic License Plate Reader
Installation of the ALPR cameras are continuing this week. The Town now has 13 active cameras in Town. The remaining cameras will be installed before the end of the month (January 31st). The 60-day pilot period will begin February 1st. The City Council is scheduled to review the ALPR system at their regular March meeting (March 17th). The review criteria for the system will be discussed at the regular February City Council meeting (February 17th).

Housing Element Update: On January 19, 2022, the City Council and the Planning Commission held a joint special meeting to receive an informational presentation on the Housing Element Update process. All the members of the City Council and Planning Commission were in attendance. In addition, there were over 45 attendees from the community. Aaron Barrall from the consultant team, Michael Baker International gave a presentation on the Housing Element update process and answered questions from the City Council, the Planning Commission, and the community. The recording of the meeting can be accessed on ‘City Council & Planning Commission Agendas & Minutes’ webpage under the 1/19/2022 meeting.


Webpage updates: Staff added additional pages to Housing Element Update 2023-2031 webpage, including Resources (weblink) and Stay Involved (weblink). The ‘Resources’ webpage includes useful documents such as ‘Housing Data Needs Report’ from ABAG/MTC Staff and Baird + Driskell Community Planning. The ‘Stay Involved’ webpage includes information regarding upcoming meetings/workshops.

Town Hall Addition
  • Prepared a final punch list with the Architect
  • Furniture has arrived and has been installed
  • New door locks have been installed
East Sunset Drive Roadway Widening - Nothing to report. 

Westwind Community Barn
  • Feeding Pasture Fencing work will begin Monday, January 24th. 
  • Public Works helped Victoria Dye Equestrian install temporary fencing to divide the Feeding Pasture in preparation for work to begin (picture above).
Private Development Projects
  • Natoma Oaks subdivision – final punch list walk on Friday, 1/21.

Sanitary Sewers
  • 13428 Carillo Lane – submitted a request for a reimbursement of the sewer main relocation
  • 25051 Tepa Way – submitted a request for a refund for the deposit balance.
  • 14096 Seven Acres Lane – returned the fully executed reimbursement agreement
  • Purissima gravity sewer main reimbursement – responded to questions regarding the reimbursement check
  • Responded to new sewer connection enquiries at 25712 Elena Road, 2106 Old Page Mill Road 
  • Foothill Expressway sewer odor – West Bay Sanitary District was onsite on 1/18 (Tuesday) to conduct CCTV inspections on the sewer mains, and record readings with a gas detection meter
  • 25431 Adobe Lane – responded to a phone call line cleared (photo below)
Pathway Projects
  • Fremont and Redwood Grove - reviewed revised Topo from RSE, created new FIRMette, sent updates and confirmation that site was outside flood plain elevations to Los Altos
  • Saddle Court – verified existing storm drain pipe alignments and invert depths
  • Altamont Plunge – evaluated adding a pedestrian crosswalk and advance pedestrian crossing signs on Altamont Road
  • Matadero – scheduled a site visit on coming Monday
Stormwater Inspections
  • Ongoing site inspections, writing reports, updating spreadsheet
  • 12468 Casa Mia Way – field inspection and meeting with the foreman
Maintenance Crew

Fallen trees/major limbs down: 0
  • Repaired broken line trimmers
  • Completed the sale of three of the five pieces of surplus equipment
  • Westwind Community Barn: Repaired water leaks in the restroom 
  • Purissima Park Fields: Completed dragging the arena dragging, cleaned up leaf, and picked up trash
  • Page Mill Road: Replaced missing or damaged signs, installed new signs on Page Mill Rd (photo below)
  • Town Hall: installed new vent on the IT door (photo below)
  • New Finance Department: repaired leaks in HVAC system, work performed by Degree HVAC.

Spring-Summer Activity Guide
Preparations for the upcoming Spring-Summer Activity Guide continue. Activity Guides will arrive in residents mailboxes by March 1st.
